We're being transparent about the roadmap for a simple reason: the people who join giltedge early deserve to know where their subscription is going. These aren't vague promises. They're the features already designed, already prioritised, and already being built.
October — George gets smarter
George already answers questions about your projection, explains every page, and appears on every error state and warning in the app. In October we're making him smarter.
That means richer projection context — George will have access to more of your data when you ask him questions, so answers like "when does my pension run out?" get more precise. It also means George tooltips on every field across the app, so you always know exactly what you're entering and why it matters.
November — Tax Module II
The current tax engine models UK income tax, National Insurance, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Tax Module II extends this to cover international tax considerations for users with income or assets abroad — rental income from overseas property, foreign pension entitlements, and cross-border residency scenarios. Scottish taxpayers will also get dedicated rate and band modelling in this release.
This is the most technically complex feature on the roadmap. It's also one of the most requested.
December — GE Rating
Your GE Rating is a projected financial health score — a single number that tells you how your financial picture looks across three dimensions: Security, Efficiency, and Tax and Protection.
Think of it as a blood pressure reading for your finances. Not a judgement. A clear signal of where you're strong, where there's room to improve, and what to focus on.
The top rating is Gilt. We think you'll want it.
What we're not building
A few things we've deliberately left out — at least for now.
We're not building a mobile app for the App Store or Google Play. giltedge is a Progressive Web App — install it from your browser on any device and it behaves like a native app, without the App Store overhead.
We're not adding investment product recommendations. giltedge is a planning tool, not a sales channel.
We're not adding social features or public profiles. Your financial data stays yours.
